On Monday, at River Camp, the professional squad went back to training with three new faces: Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, Tomas Pochettino, and Emanuel Mammana.

In the presence of President Jorge Brito and Vice President Matias Patanian, the three players signed their contract, had their first training session with their new teammates, and then traveled with the rest of the team to San Martin de los Andes.

“I’m very happy to be back at home. I want to thank the fans for their messages, this year we’ll give our all to get the best results," assured Emanuel Mammana, one of the players trained in our Youth Divisions, who is coming back to play for River.

Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, who was also churned out by the Club's academy, said: “I want to tell all River fans that I’m very ecstatic, very happy to be back. I’ve been wanting this for a long time.”

Finally, Tomas Pochettino also let his excitement show, as he will start to wear the River jersey: "I’m very happy and I hope we have a great year."
